We were started by the mini pantry movement founder.

In May 2016, Jessica McClard launched the Little Free Pantry Pilot, founding the grassroots mini pantry movement. She founded Pantry Gift Inc. to help support the movement. PantryGift is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, EIN: 82-1690494.

We at PantryGift have been part of the mini pantry movement from its start. Alongside you, we've watched it feed neighbors and nourish neighborhoods. We are your neighbors, and we believe in this movement

HOW PANTRYGIFT WORKS

  1. Eligible mini pantry stewards create campaigns.

  2. PantryGift verifies the validity of campaigns.

  3. Givers browse campaigns, choosing which they'll support and how much they'll give. Givers may include an additional amount to support the work of PantryGift.

  4. When campaigns end, PantryGift routes total gifts given to stewards, regardless of whether goal amounts are reached.

 

 

WHO WE HELP

  • Mini pantry stewards who receive funds raised through PantryGift.

  • Givers who want to help support the mini pantry movement by donating

  • Neighbors who use mini pantries: families, veterans, people experiencing homelessness, kids, those too ashamed of their need to seek help, those who don't qualify for means-tested assistance but struggle to make ends meet, and many others experiencing food insecurity

  • Neighbors who want to live in generous, collaborative, trusting neighborhoods
